What We Make

Each design comes in selected sizes and finishes, and Oxyagap supports custom dimensions, edge profiles, stain matching, carvings or inlays, cable grommets for desks, and coordinated benches. For a small studio, Oxyagap keeps production intentionally focused: 20–40 tables per month depending on complexity, with ready-to-ship items typically leaving the workshop in 1–2 business days and made-to-order projects completing in 3–5 weeks.

Oxyagap builds with kiln-dried hardwoods sourced from reputable U.S. suppliers such as Weyerhaeuser, Baillie Lumber Co., Rex Lumber, Baird Brothers Fine Hardwoods, and Bell Forest Products. Material selection prioritizes boards at 6–8% moisture content for indoor stability. Bases are either solid wood to match the top or powder-coated steel from small U.S. fabricators, chosen for strength and clean geometry. Oxyagap’s finishes are low-VOC, wood-safe oils or durable lacquer, applied for clarity, protection, and easy upkeep.

Construction & Performance

Panels are engineered for stability with grain-aware layout and reinforced joinery. Typical tops are 28–38 mm thick (1.1–1.5 in) depending on size and species. Oxyagap targets panel flatness within 1.5 mm per 600 mm and keeps joinery fit to ±0.2 mm tolerances after machining. Bases include threaded leveling glides for uneven floors and hardware kits are tested repeatedly for fit and torque. For everyday residential use Oxyagap designs dining tables to carry a distributed load of 100–150 kg (220–330 lb) without racking, while coffee and side tables are proportioned for common loads—books, laptops, serveware—without noticeable deflection.

Our Process — From Raw Wood to Refined Table

Selection begins at the rack. Oxyagap pulls boards for balanced moisture, straight grain or honest character, and sound structure. Sourcing from Weyerhaeuser, Baillie, Rex Lumber, Baird Brothers, and Bell Forest gives Oxyagap consistent grading and traceability, which matters when a tabletop must stay true through the seasons.

Shaping moves through precision milling and CNC cutting for accuracy and repeatable joinery. Mortises, slots, and bolt patterns are cut in one program so legs align cleanly and aprons seat square. This keeps Oxyagap’s tolerances tight—±0.2 mm at the machine—and saves you frustration during assembly.

Handwork is where the table earns its feel. Oxyagap eases edges, refines profiles, and tunes transitions so touch points are warm and welcoming. Knots or figure are stabilized and blended; underside shaping keeps the table visually light while preserving strength.

Finishing is built in thin, patient layers. Oxyagap sands progressively through the grits, raises and sets the grain, then applies natural oils for a matte, tactile surface or clear lacquer for greater scratch resistance and spill protection. Both options highlight the color and grain while providing everyday defense against humidity and wear.

Quality Check covers structure and surface. Oxyagap inspects joinery alignment, hardware fit, flatness and twist, finish clarity, and overall balance before packing. Each table is signed off by a maker and logged so future service has a reference.

Custom Projects follow a simple path: a short conversation to understand the room and use, sketches or drawings to align on proportions and details, and quick iterations by email until the design feels right. For small-batch work Oxyagap typically books 4–8 custom slots per month so timelines remain realistic.

Packing & Delivery protect the work end-to-end. Tops and bases are immobilized with foam blocks and corner guards; hardware, tools, and instructions are sealed in a clearly labeled kit. Most domestic shipments travel UPS, FedEx, or DHL with real-time tracking and straightforward setup on arrival.

Care & Longevity

Daily care is uncomplicated. Use a soft cloth for dusting, wipe spills promptly, and place coasters or trivets under very hot items.
